— BuzzHive Ambassador Program

Bring promoters in. Earn forever.

Be the connector. Every promoter you refer to BuzzHive earns you a cut of every ticket they sell — for as long as they keep using the platform. Monthly Stripe payouts. No upfront cost. Built for scene insiders who know venues.

The tier ladder

Earn a percentage of BuzzHive’s per-ticket platform fee on every sale your referred promoters make. Your rate scales as you prove out.

Tier 1 · Starting out
10%
of BuzzHive’s per-ticket fee
Available from day one. Earn on every ticket your referred promoters sell. Paid out monthly via Stripe Express.
Tier 2 · Proven
20%
of BuzzHive’s per-ticket fee
Unlocks at 500 lifetime sales. Once unlocked, you earn at this rate any month you push past 500 sales.
Tier 3 · Elite
30%
of BuzzHive’s per-ticket fee
Unlocks at 5,000 lifetime sales. Then earn at 30% any month you push past 1,000 sales. Top performers stay here.

BuzzHive’s per-ticket fee is 2% + $0.99. The promoter never sees the affiliate share — BuzzHive pays it out of our own platform fee. Promoter payouts are unchanged whether they came in through an ambassador or directly. Tier rates apply only in months where you hit both the lifetime unlock and the monthly threshold.

How it works

One signup, then a referral link that earns for life on every promoter you bring in.

1. Apply & verify

Fill out the form below. We onboard you with Stripe Express — same flow our promoters use. Takes about 10 minutes (ID, bank account, tax info). BuzzHive handles your 1099-NEC at year-end so you don’t have to.

2. Share your link

You get a unique referral code embedded in a URL like buzzhive.info/promoter-signup?ref=yourname-7k3x. Share it with promoters and venues you know who could use a better ticketing platform.

3. Earn forever

Every ticket your referred promoters sell earns you a cut. Lifetime — not just the first 90 days. Monthly payouts on the 1st via Stripe Express. Watch your dashboard for tier progress and projected earnings.

Attribution & payments

Lifetime, per-promoter

Once a promoter signs up through your link, that promoter is permanently attributed to you. You earn on every ticket they ever sell, for as long as they use BuzzHive. The relationship is yours unless you violate our Ambassador Agreement.

Monthly Stripe Express payouts

Direct deposit on the 1st of each month. Minimum payout is $25 — anything below rolls forward to the next month so nothing is ever lost. Stripe Tax Reporting handles your 1099-NEC at year-end.

1099 contractor relationship

You sign up as an independent 1099 contractor of BuzzHive — not an employee, not a partner. You set your own hours and methods. Compensation is paid commission-only on Eligible Sales.

Refunds adjust later months

If a ticket sale that earned you commission is later refunded, the adjustment comes out of the refund month’s earnings, not retroactively. You keep your tier qualifications already earned.

Conduct & rules

Ambassador status comes with responsibilities. Read the full Ambassador Agreement before you sign up.

Ambassador role only

Ambassadors cannot also hold a promoter account under the same identity (email, phone, or Stripe-verified person). We enforce this at signup with multiple identity checks. Roles are deliberately separate.

Honest representation

Don’t make claims BuzzHive can’t back. Don’t spam. Don’t bid on BuzzHive branded keywords. Disclose your ambassador relationship when you promote the platform (FTC requires it). Standard endorsement guidelines apply.

FAQ

How is the affiliate cut paid?

BuzzHive collects its 2% + $0.99 platform fee on every ticket the buyer purchases. Your commission comes out of that fee — never the ticket price itself, and never the promoter’s payout. The promoter doesn’t see a different rate; we just share a percentage of our own cut with you.

What counts as a referral?

Any promoter who creates a BuzzHive account using a URL with your unique ?ref= code. The link is captured in a 30-day cookie, so a click today still attributes when the promoter signs up later. One referring ambassador per promoter — first click wins.

Can I lose my downflow?

Only if you violate the Ambassador Agreement. We treat downflow as permanent unless there’s a clear breach (spam, deceptive claims, self-dealing, etc.). Suspension freezes earnings; termination revokes all referrals. The full list of what counts as a violation is in the agreement.

What happens if a promoter refunds a sale?

The refund deducts from your earnings in the month the refund occurs (not retroactively). If the refund deduction exceeds that month’s accrued commission, the negative balance carries forward against future earnings.

How long is the program guaranteed to run?

BuzzHive may modify or end the Ambassador Program at any time with at least 30 days’ notice. We’d only do that if the economics stop working — this program exists because growing the platform is worth more to us than the percentage we share.

What tax forms will I get?

BuzzHive (via Stripe Tax Reporting) will issue a 1099-NEC for any calendar year your aggregate Commissions equal or exceed the IRS threshold (currently $600). You’re responsible for reporting your Commissions as income.
